Rap icon Eminem has entered a new chapter in life—he’s now a grandfather. His daughter, Hailie Jade, has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband Evan McClintock.
The 29-year-old shared the joyful news on April 4 through an Instagram post, introducing her newborn son to the world. The baby, named Elliot Marshall McClintock, carries a meaningful middle name—“Marshall”—a sweet nod to Hailie’s father, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.
In the heartwarming photos, baby Elliot is dressed in a cozy blue knit sweater and posed next to a placard displaying his name and birthdate. Hailie revealed that her son arrived a bit ahead of schedule, writing in the caption: “happy due date // 3 weeks earthside little e.”
Elliot was actually born on March 14, as Hailie confirmed in her post, which featured a carousel of adorable newborn snapshots. The announcement was met with a flood of love and congratulations from friends and family.
Among those celebrating was Hailie’s uncle, Nathan Mathers—Eminem’s younger half-brother, whom the rapper gained custody of when Nathan was 16. He commented, “You guys are going to be amazing parents! And Elliot will have the best uncle and grandpa!”
Hailie’s sister, Alaina Marie Scott—Eminem’s adopted niece—also shared her excitement: “Obsessed with this tiny human and could not be more in awe of YOU, mama! Motherhood is such a beautiful thing and you make it look easy. I am SO proud of you and grateful you have Evan.”
