Kourtney Kardashian reveals she had to have fetal surgery to save her baby
The mother of three tells of her frightening rush to the hospital to save her unborn baby

Kourtney Kardashian has shared with fans the “feeling of fear” as she was rushed to hospital to save her unborn baby’s life.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt update with her 224 million fans.
The mother of three is expecting her first child with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker who left his tour to rush to his wife’s bedside.
Kourtney shared a black and white image of Travis holding her hand as she lay in a hospital bed.
She told fans: “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.”
She paid tribute to her husband and mum, Kris Jenner for their support.
She said: “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.
“And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
The star was candid about the “fetal surgery” she had and the “fear” she faced.
“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear.
“I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
She also shared her relief that her baby boy was safe following the surgery.
“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”
The couple are expecting their first child together and Kourtney is already mum to Mason, Penelope and Reign and Travis is dad to a son, Landon, daughter Alabama and stepdad to Atiana.
