There was once a tradition where you named your baby after a loved one.
But as generations have gone on this has somewhat faded.
Unless you’re Vin Diesel.
Speaking on The Today Show the Fast and Furious actor told viewers that he had named his newest arrival after his late best friend and co-star, Paul Walker.
After confirming his little girl was called Pauline he continued to tell the audience that he had felt Paul in the room when she was born.
"There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just … knew he was there.”
He added that calling his little girl Pauline made him feel as though he was keeping the memory of Paul – who died in a car accident in November 2013 – alive and ‘part of [his] family and world’.
The star added that naming his child after the actor "felt like a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world."
