Rebecca Adlington has named her baby girl after our fave season.
The Olympic swimmer and I’m a Celebrity star, opted for the baby name Summer partly in tribute to the time of the year that she got her medals.
Speaking to Hello Magazine Rebecca claimed that giving birth to her little girl was her ‘greatest achievement.’
She said that she had also had to cancel her plans to have the water birth she had so wanted because of complications.
She told Hello! Magazine: ‘It was the most painful thing I have ever done but also the most rewarding. Winning medals doesn’t really make a difference to real life but bringing a new child into the world is without a doubt our greatest achievement.’
Her hubby Harry added that they had chosen the name Summer as Rebecca had won her medals in summer, that the pair got married in summer, and that their baby was born in summer.
‘It made perfect sense to name her after our favourite time of year,’ he said.
